Fall is here! Time to pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving! Visit one or several of these family friendly Kansas City pumpkin patches.
Carolyn's Country Cousins is the perfect place to take the whole family. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Kansas City, Carolyn's has pumpkins, hayrides, a playground, pig races, and an antique pedal tractor carousel. Also, visit the Liberty Corn Maze just next door! They are open Sept. 17-Nov 1st. Visit on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-7pm for free admission! Admission is $8-$10.
KC Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Gardner, Kansas is Kansas City's best "Haycation." This pumpkin patches features a ton of pumpkins and over 50 activities including a maze, zipline, haunted barn, hay loft, horse swings and more. They are open Sept. 21st-Oct 31st. Admission is $10 for guests 2 and older.
Johnson Farms Plants and Pumpkins offers guests 40 acres of good, old-fashioned fun. This patch features pumpkins, giant squash, gourds and more. You can choose from their pre-picked selection or grab a wheelbarrow and harvest your own. They also have family activities including a kiddie maze barn, gourd tunnel, straw loft, and a "Chickens of the World" exhibit. Their season is from Sept. 23rd to Oct. 31st. Admission is $8-$10.
Faulkner's Ranch and Pumpkin Farm also has tons of pumpkins, gourds and fun family activities. Here you can go fishing, take a ride on the zipline, watch duck races, take a hayride with DJ Jack-O-Latern and ride a pony. Their season runs from Sept. 30th to Oct. 31st. Admission is $7.
Louisburg Cider Mill and Country Store offers a ten acre pumpkin patch and a teepee village! Other activities include a ten acre corn maze, straw fort, hay castle, play area, hay bale romp, farm animals and "Flash Light Nights." They are open from Sept. 16th- Oct. 31st. Admission is $8.
