Upcoming Events at Legoland Discovery CentreLegoland Discovery Center Chicago invites you to celebrate the holiday season with them this year!  Now through January 1, 2012, there are lots of fun events happening at Legoland!  Located at 610 N. Martingale Road, Schaumburg, IL, escape the frightfully cold weather and enjoy fun, colorful Lego brick during Holly Jolly Holidays.

Festive Lego decorations will deck the halls of the Legoland Discovery Centre through the New Year.  There will also be seasonal games, group builds and other Lego fun for the holidays!  Some of these fun activities include building a Lego Eskimo, penguin or Santa in the Model Builder workshop, making Lego ornaments, helping assemble the 12-foot Lego holiday tree, a scavenger hung on the Dragon Ride and fun photo opportunities with a life-size Santa and snowman made out of Legos!

You can also ring in the New Year at Legoland with a kid-friendly annual celebration.  TheUpcoming Events at Legoland Discovery Centre countdown will take place on December 31 and Jan 1 and will be complete with balloon drop countdowns, confetti, sparkling grape juice and of course, some rockin’ party music!  There will also be commemorative New Year photo opportunities, Lego creative challenges and the chance to play in the new Lego city construction site Play Zone.
