The Ottawa Guild of Potters Spring Sale and Exhibition,is hosting their third show at the Shenkman Arts Centre in Orleans.
The show opens this Thursday night, April 12th at 6 pm, and runs until 5:00 pm on Sunday April 15th. The lower lobby will be filled with beautiful functional pieces, sculptural work, jewelry and all things clay. Once again there are new things to be excited about – tulips (perfect for the Tulip Festival and visitors and guests to the capital)! The show opens with a Vernissage at 6 pm on April 12th when they will be providing refreshments, an opportunity to meet and mingle with their potters, and they’ll host the annual Award Ceremony for the winners of their Spring Ceramic Exhibition.

Any pieces with the Harvest House tag that are purchased will have 100% of the proceeds from that piece sent to Harvest House to aid them in their ministry to young men in the Ottawa area.
The Space Cadet Headphone Experience April 13-15th, 2012, Kid Koala, aka Eric San will be performing at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum. Kid Koala is described as a jazzy hip hop lullaby and he creates an amazing sonic storytelling environment using turntables, piano and experimental lighting to produce an awe-inspiring visual dimension to the music.
