Exploration Place is bringing Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination to the people of Kansas. This traveling exhibit will be on display starting May 26th through September 3rd, 2012.
Visit this blockbuster traveling exhibit and you will encounter the fantasy technologies depicted in the Star Wars films, investigate the real science behind them and see the current research that may someday lead to remarkable real-life versions of the technologies seen in the film series. Also on display will be 80+ props, models and costumes from the films.
While there make sure to take the Millennium Falcon Experience. Here you can climb aboard Han Solo’s prized possession and zoom through the stars. You can also visit on Saturdays or Sundays for a live science show in the Kemper Creative Learning Studio.
Tickets are required for the Star Wars exhibit. Adult admission is $19.50, Seniors $16.50, Children (3-11) $13 and children 2 and under are free. Tickets do not include the Millennium Falcon experience which is an additional $3. Members of Exploration Place can purchased admission at a discounted rate or by the Galaxy Pass for unlimited exhibition visits.
