HOW TO FIND US USING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: |
| |
The Science Center is accessible from both bus routes and Metrolink. Bus routes which travel along Kingshighway Blvd and/or have Oakland Avenue connections are the best choice.
On Metrolink, disembark at either the Central West End or Forest Park stations, and then transfer to the Forest Park Shuttlebug for a short ride to the Science Center¿s James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park.
Please note: the Shuttlebug does not operate past 7 pm.

Two of the Science Center¿s three buildings are connected by a 700-foot-long bridge/tunnel which doubles as exhibit space. The glass-enclosed bridge crosses over a major street and Interstate 64. Radar guns trained on the passing motorists and glass panels in the floor are popular with visitors of all ages. The 300-foot-long tunnel features the Flight! Gallery, where you'll learn about man¿s vision of flying, the milestones man¿s reached and a look at the future of space travel. |
