Buffalo Soldier Memorial 9th & 10th Cavalry Buffalo Soldier Memorial, Junction City, Kansas

Description   Dedicated to the 9th & 10th horse cavalry regiments, the memorial is constructed of native limestone and serves as a backdrop for a 9-foot broze sculpted statue of a buffalo soldier by his horse. A walk of honor laid with red bricks surround the statue with contributors names inscribed. The memorial is near a one-of-a-kind 1940's government housing area once designated for the Buffalo Soldiers and their families during segregation.
