Pa. as it meanders in and out of the Allegheny National Forest from Kinzua Dam to points south as far as Oil City and Franklin. This portion is designated a National Scenic Riverway and is considered a Class I waterway suitable for novices, experienced canoers, families, the young and the young at heart. We have short 2 or 4 hour trips, day trips, overnight trips, or spend several days on the river with free primitive camping on the numerous islands in the river.
