Description   Nestled within the Canadian Rockies, the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre offers a look at rich and breathtaking history of the Crowsnest Pass. The area is home to many of Canada's significant historical events such as the Frank Slide of 1903, the Hillcrest Mine Disaster (Canada's Worst), Prohibition, a Shootout at the Bellevue Cafe, and many more!!! Take in the 4 levels of interpretive displays, see a live interpretive program (prop talks, slide talks, drama, hikes, etc), take a walk on the 1.5km long Frank Slide Trail, or visit the Frank Slide Gift Shop.

  The Frank Slide Interpretive Centre is built on the edge of the destruction from the Frank Slide of 1903. The facility offers breath-taking views of the 90 million tons of limestone that crashed to the valley floor almost 100 years ago.
