The Pearl's mission is to set an American standard for the production of classic theatre. We believe that the enriching journeys of classical theatre demand a company of actors able to speak in each of their characters' voices and to live in their characters' worlds. The Pearl seeks and develops actors with the technical abilities and the artistic inclination to create a character rather than to recreate a type, and to approach each play on the playwright's terms.
