Great care has been taken to restore the hotel with an eye to retaining its original character. Although the building's architectural style, with terrazzo floors and chrome fixtures is true Art Deco, the rooms had a playful, rural charm about them, that we have tried to capture again. We have also added many amenities that were not regarded as necessary in the 1930s but will certainly enhance your comfort today.
The hotel's location in the heart of the historic district allows you to easily explore the downtown and the area along the Connecticut River. If you're so inclined, you might even climb Mt. Wantastiquet for a spectacular view of the town.
You'll find that the shopping and activities in Brattleboro are as varied and unique as the personalities of the local shop keepers. |
