The Ford Center is part of the New 42nd Street revival. You can enter from either 42nd or 43rd street into an elegant marbled lobby. Check out the gift shop before and after the show. Don't miss the beautiful murals on either side above the box seats. Engineers have transplanted, intact, the stunning facade of the old Lyric Theatre (which occupied this site) and placed it, surprisingly, a few stories above the ground. Everything is new and comfortable, even roomy.
