Boston Classical Orchestra Great music at the famous Faneuil Hall.

Description   The Boston Orchestra offers outstanding performances in the intimate setting of historic Faneuil Hall. Founded in 1980, this fully professional 30-piece chamber orchestra is conducted by prize-winning music director Steven Lipsitt. Boston Classical performs five programs from September to May on Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Each concert encompasses a broad spectrum of classical music with a wide range of composers. Often lesser-known pieces, modern compositions and premier performances are juxtaposed with familiar favorites. A lecture about the music precedes the Sunday afternoon concert and the conductor provides enlightening commentary during each performance.
