Not only is the Museum home to Gigantosaurus, the biggest meat-eating dinosaur, but it is also home to 23 million species of plants, animals and other organisms! The Academy's Ewell Sale Stewart Library houses beautiful rare manuscripts and books, as well as plant specimens gathered by Lewis & Clark during their historic expedition. The Academy is also home to 3 research groups: the Biodiversity Group, The Patrick Center for Environmental Research, and the Estuarine Research Laboratory. |
