Description   Litchfield Jazz Festival, named among the ¿Top 100 Events in North America for 2006¿ (ABA) is entering its 11th season at the Goshen Fairgrounds in North West Connecticut. Dates this year: August 4,5,6. It has presented stars like Ray Charles, Tito Puente, Arturo Sandoval and newcomers like Brad Mehldau and Diana Krall (1996- her first US festival). The festival sponsors Litchfield Jazz Camp, which operates throughout July. All students appear on the Gazebo stage at the festival. '' The NY Times called it a ¿model jazz line-up.¿ One festivalgoer called it ¿the Best Jazz Festival Anywhere.¿
