Description   Visit four countries and 300 years of history in one afternoon. The Frontier Culture Museum has authentic farms and a working blacksmith’s forge which offer European and American history as an experience. Costumed staff using appropriate furnishings, gardens, livestock, and crops illustrate life in Old-world Europe and the culture these settlers help build on one of America’s first frontiers. Time periods include Germany early-1700s; Northern Ireland early-1700s; England late-1600s; and mid-1800s (pre-Civil War) Shenandoah Valley.
