Zoar Village State Memorial A restored German village founded by religious dissenters in 1817.
 
   
Description   This 1817 village is made up of 10 restored buildings founded by a German religious sect. Visitors can take a guided tour and visit other buildings staffed with interpreters. Write or call for a list of special events.

  The Zoar Garden, geometrically shaped to resemble the New Jerusalem in Revelation, is a block square and abounds with flowers in the summer. Zoar is a real town, with historic private homes as well as restored museums. There are shops and B & Bs as well. Write or call for a list.
