An official U.S. Navy museum located in Norfolk, the world's largest naval installation.
 
   
Description   The Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Norfolk introduces guests to over two hundred years of activity in and around the great harbor of Hampton Roads, Virginia. It houses over fifty exhibits including audio and video presentations, priceless ship models and underwater archaeological finds. HRNM also welcomes visitors to its newest and largest artifact, Battleship Wisconsin! The main deck and 01-03 levels of this World War II-era battleship are free and open to the public. A new permanent exhibit Wisky Walk: Fifty Years of Service reviews the battleship’s illustrious history including her successes in World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Gulf War.
