Description   At Jamestown Settlement, explore the world of America's first permanent English colonists and their Powhatan Indian neighbors. Tour exhibition galleries featuring rare 1600s artifacts and a dramatic documentary film. Board a replica of one of the three ships that reached Virginia in 1607, and explore re-creations of a colonial fort and Powhatan Indian village.

At Yorktown Victory Center, witness the drama of the American Revolution, from the beginnings of colonial unrest to the formation of the new nation. Innovative exhibits and an evocative film tell the story of the Revolutionary era from the perspecitves of ordinary men and women. Outdoors, learn about 18th-century medical care and join a cannon crew in a Continental Army encampment, and help water the garden or process flax in a re-created 1780s farm.
