Description   Heritage Harbor is a new museum being developed by 19 historical and cultural organizations. It will become Rhode Island's first statewide history museum and heritage center, and is the only New England museum affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution.
Heritage Harbor Museum is located at 350 Eddy Street on the Providence River, in a former Power Plant donated by the Narragansett Electric Co. The Museum is scheduled to begin a phased opening in late 2003/2004.

  Upon opening of the musuem, Heritage Harbor will be accessible via Air, Amtrak, RIPTA bus, trolley, and water taxi, as well as automobile.
