Description   At the Rogers Historical Museum, you can explore a downtown of yesteryear on "First Street" and enjoy hands-on fun in "The Attic." You can step into the past with a tour of the 1895 Hawkins House and immerse yourself in history through thought-provoking exhibits which offer folks of all ages things to see AND do.

Best of all, you'll come to appreciate the history of this corner of Northwest Arkansas through the stories of its people. Touching stories, funny stories, inspiring stories. Stories of famous people and stories of ordinary people who lived through extraordinary times.

  Among the museum's permanent exhibits is the 1895 Hawkins House, which is decorated, furnished, and interpreted to illustrate everyday life at the turn of the 20th century. The museum also provides permanent and rotating exhibits in its exhibition hall and hosts traveling exhibitions. All exhibits include interactive and hands-on components. Many also incorporate sound and scent to enrich the exhibit experience. Also available are a museum store and a research library.
