Cernan Earth & Space Center The Cernan Center is a public planetarium on the campus of Triton College.
 
   
Description   Explore the wonders of the universe and the latest discoveries in astronomy, space exploration, and earth science at the Cernan Earth and Space Center, a unique space-age facility that combines education and entertainment for all ages. Located on the campus of Triton College, the Cernan Center features earth and sky shows, children's shows, laser light shows, exhibits, a membership program, and the Star Store gift shop. The Cernan Center is named for astronaut Eugene Cernan, the last astronaut to leave his footprints on the moon, who was born and raised in communities now served by Triton College.
