Often called a mini-Smithsonian museum, the 120,000 square foot museum houses four permanent galleries including one hands-on interactive children's gallery, three special exhibit galleries, a gem panning and walk-in fossil dig experience, a planetarium, an observatory, a Store and a Cafe.
