The Dalton Visitor Center is located in Downtown Dalton in the Freight Depot. 

The downtown trolley runs from Hotel Row, right off Interstate 75, to Downtown Dalton from Thursday to Saturday in the evenings.

The oldest brick home in Dalton,The Hamilton House, was built by John Hamilton around 1840. Guided tours offer an in-depth look at the history behind the house.

The only outdoor statue of General Joseph E. Johnson, who commanded the Army of Tennessee in 1863 is located in Downtown Dalton.

Tunnel Hill is a 167 year old railroad that became part of several historic events during the Civil War.
