A fixture at Kansas State University since 1970, McCain Auditorium is a 1,750-seat proscenium theatre featuring live performing arts for the Flint Hills region. The McCain Performance Series presents approximately 30

Notable artists that have appeared in the series include Carol Burnett, Jay Leno, Van Cliburn, Itzhak Perlman, Bernadette Peters, Foreigner, Kansas, Pilobolus, Larry the Cable Guy, LeAnn Rimes, Yo-Yo Ma, William Shatner, Mannheim Steamroller, Wynton Marsalis, Garrison Keillor, The Chieftains, Chris Botti, Michael Feinstein, and a host of other professional music, theatre, and dance productions.

The current season includes performances by headliners ThePianoGuys, Pat Metheny, Lyle Lovett, Brian Regan, The Oak Ridge Boys, Melissa Etheridge, Air Supply, Bobby McFerrin and many others.
