The James J. Shea Sr. Memorial Library contains more than 76,000 volumes and 14,900 bound periodicals, plus subscriptions to more than 400 current periodicals. Through online database access, innumerable educational resources are available to students.

All visitors should park in Lot A directly off State Street. Potential students visiting admissions should park in Lot G. From State Street, turn onto Concord Terrace. Turn left into Lot G and park in one of the spots marked "Reserved for Admissions."

The Chronicle of Higher Education has named American International College one of the fastest growing colleges in the United States for the fifth time.

Fun Facts

AIC was founded on July 18, 1885, with the purpose of educating international immigrants who were coming to America through New York. 

Notable AIC Alumni include Jim Calhoun (Hall of Fame basketball coach), Richard Neal (MA representative), Mike Gravel (former Alaskan senator), and Asnage Castelly (first Haitian wrestler in the Summer Olympics).

SmartAsset™ named American International College among the top ten colleges and universities in Massachusetts for starting salaries after graduation. AIC graduates’ average starting salary of $54,100 placed the school tenth in the state.
