Conveniently located in the southwest corner of Massachusetts, Ski Butternut is an easy 2-1/2 hour drive from New York City and Boston and one hour from Hartford, Springfield, and Albany. A prisinte mountain and friendly staff make Ski Butternut a family-friendly winter playground.

The mountain offers twenty-two trails, eleven lifts (including three quads), a snowmaking system that covers 100% of the trails, excellent snow grooming, two fun terrain parks, eight-lane tubing center, ski school with 350 instructors, 2,500 sets of rental skis and 600 snowboards, a mountain side full service ski and board shop, demo center to try before buying, and a tuning center to help visitors reach peak performance.
