Midnight Moment is the world's largest and longest-running digital art exhibition, appearing on Times Square's electronic billboards from 11:57 PM until midnight. Each month, a different three-minute art video is featured as the Midnight Moment.

Avoid service fees when buying Broadway tickets by buying tickets in person at the box office or at the TKTS booth at 47th Street and 7th Avenue for same-day discount tickets.

There is a permanent sound installation by Max Neuhaus under the subway grates of the pedestrian plaza between 45th and 46th Streets, subtly amplifying the hum of the tunnels.

Times Square was once called Long Acre Square. It was renamed after the New York Times in 1904.

On average, more than 300,000 pedestrians enter the heart of Times Square each day.
