Tours of the family homestead begin in primitive 1840s building with history of family roots and evolution of cleaning devices. A replica of a 1910 manual cleaner is available as an interactive element. Family Victorian home reveals Hoover success as leader in floor care/ vacuum technology with exhibits of products, advertising, vintage ladies' fashions in displays, all with elegant Victorian backdrop. Visitors sing the Hoover song with recording, experience a floating canister, and affix a hand-held vacuum to a wall.
