Located in Hartville, Quail Hollow Park features over 700 acres of rolling meadows, marshes, pine and deciduous woods surrounding a 40-room house. Operating as a state park since 1975, Stark Parks began managing the park in January of 2016. It is a must-visit for any park or nature lover.

Picnic shelters are available for rent at Sippo Lake Park, Petros Lake Park, & Walborn Reservoir. Indoor, climate-controlled party and meeting rooms are available for rent at the Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park. Offering a unique natural setting for conferences, weddings, banquets, & parties.

Bald Eagles have nested near Walborn Reservoir for over a decade and have produced 17 eaglets over the years. Two eaglets hatched in April 2015. View the nest from the Stark Parks Eagle Observation Deck located at 13600 Marlboro Ave. NE in Alliance.

The Ohio & Erie Canalway is a National Heritage Area that runs 110 miles from Cleveland to New Philadelphia. The Towpath Trail follows the historic route of the Ohio & Erie Canal through once-thriving canal villages. Enjoy 25 miles of this iconic route in Stark Parks, accessible from 13 trailheads.

Rent a bike at 6 self-service BikeSmart sites including the Exploration Gateway at Sippo Lake Park, Veterans Park along the Middle Branch Trail, & Stadium Park along the West Branch Trail. Free with a Stark County District Library card. Visitors can check out bikes for a small fee by credit card.
