La Spaghetterie changed its name in 1984 and to become Ferme Rouge. Jean Labrie purchased the restaurant in 1989 and decided to promote a musical show with four artists on stage. The concept was a success and the Ferme Rouge now welcomes thousands of tourists and locals every week.

On February 16, 2014, a devastating fire completely destroyed the historical Ferme Rouge restaurant.
