About The Area

Pittsburgh is known for its steel and coal, but as those industries die out, it makes way for other things to move in. While Carnegie and Mellon can be seen on just about everything, you'll also see the results of a town that's going through a re-urbanization.

Older residents, students, artists and young professionals mix together. Plenty of history resides here especially with the iron and steel industry playing such a large role in several wars, but if that's not your thing, there are plenty of other options.

Sports fanatics will enjoy a trip to PNC Park, which gets top honors as an amazing place to watch a baseball game.
